An update on our OneQuantum Community
Women in Quantum Summit V with Keysight Technologies & IonQ (brought to you by Honeywell & IonQ)
Dear all,
A month ago I wrote a piece titled Quantum Computing: Paradigm shift or slow death? to explore the current state of quantum computing.
Two weeks ago I followed up with Quantum Tech | How to invest capital in a smart way? to address best practices and frameworks for better Capex utilization in our community.
Next week I will publish Quantum Tech | How to elevate revenue scaling & acquisitions hoping to provide further tools to help all Quantum Tech startups be successful in our spooky world.
This weekend I am taking a moment to write to you with an update about our OneQuantum organization who’s mission it is to provide a supportive and authentic community platform for anyone active or interested in Quantum Tech no matter their background, skills, origin, gender, race, or goal.
Organized by chapters, we have greatly expanded this early summer with representation across the globe - all our chapters serve above common purpose while integrating and representing the local ecosystem.
This is possible thanks to an impressive and dedicated roster of volunteer presidents who invest their time and energy organizing their local efforts.
If you’d like to join one of these communities, or, apply to start your own in any country or region, please let me know.
OneQuantum began with a startup chapter and our Women in Quantum, presided by Denise Ruffner, chapter over a year ago.
Next week we are holding our Fifth WIQ summit with a fantastic lineup of speakers and supporters, such as:
Jean McManus, Executive Director of Platform and Emerging Technologies from Verizon
Wen Lin Tan, Senior Physicist at IonQ
Kristine Boone, Business Development at Keysight
Noel Goddard, CEO at Qunnect
Susan Clark, Physicist at Sandia Labs
Importantly, we will have a huge job fair with QCWare, IonQ, Zurich Instruments, SeeQC, Google and many others - so if you are looking to make a quantum move send your resume to brooke@onequantum.org and join the career fair at the end of both conference days.
Thank you for your time & continuous support, I look forward to seeing you all soon at OneQuantum, the many other fantastic communities popping up everywhere - and our first ever in person event later this year.
Happy weekend,
Andre
